EastEnders fans 'work out' when Lola is going to die after spotting telling clue

EastEnders fans believe they have worked out when Lola Pearce is going to die following her brain tumour diagnosis.

Lola, played by Danielle Harold, discovered she had a brain tumour in November and was later told that her illness was terminal.

Ever since her diagnosis, fans have been speculating when the character will be killed off and have even started a Digital Spy forum titled ‘EE – When will Lola die.’

Viewers previously speculated Lola could pass away on her wedding day or the BBC soap’s upcoming anniversary in February – but they have now come to a new conclusion.

Putting their detective skills to the test, one user deciphered that an Instagram snap posted by newcomer Patsy Kensit means Lola can’t die within the next month.

Taking to Instagram on January 23, the 54-year-old posed with her on-screen daughter after a long day on set, captioning the snap: “Me and my baby girl @danielle_harold end of a long day shooting. Love you Dan.”

Taking to the forum, one viewer wrote: “Patsy Kensit recently posted a photo of her and Danielle after filming on set. It’s not entirely clear as to when she took the photo.

“We know EastEnders usually films 6-8 weeks in advance. I think Patsy Kensit was in panto. As was Brian Conley and Gillian Wright but their absences from the soap haven’t been filmed yet.

“There have been no location films reported of Lola’s funeral. If she dies in February, the funeral would likely be end of feb so you’d have thought it would have been filmed by now. Is Lola going to be around for a bit longer?”

Agreeing with this, another viewer suggested the date could be in April as that’s when Danielle’s contract is likely up.

“Think she [Danielle] returned in April 2019 so most likely she might die then around Easter time maybe if he contract ends around now.”

Echoing this, someone else added: “It could be a while yet but I do think it’ll be in the spring. Easter sounds about right.”
