Emma Watson goes braless in sheer dress at rare red carpet appearance with brother

Emma Watson put on a dazzling display as she went braless and slipped into a sheer dress at an award ceremony in New York City.

The Harry Potter star showed off her spellbinding beauty at the Soho House Awards at Brooklyn’s Dumbo House on Thursday evening (September 7).

Emma, 33, dropped jaws with her fully kitted out Dior look as she sported a plunging, shimmering fringe top over a sheer pleated dress.

She finished off the look with white heels, pearl earrings, and a matching white leather clutch purse.

The elegant actress and activist even did a little twirl upon arriving at the red carpet with a very special guest: her brother.

Alex Watson, 30, wore a rather contrasting, yet sleek, checked blue suit, with a plain black T-shirt.

Emma and her younger sibling shared a number of sweet moments as they were snapped in fits of laughter, and giving one another a cuddle.

The pair appear to share a close relationship, which the Perks of Being a Wallflower star opened up about on her 33rd birthday in April.

On Instagram, she thanked him for “finding the most challenging things, with time, incredibly funny”.

Emma also confronted her stepping away from the limelight and the ability to grow away from the public eye.

“I felt really sad and really p***ed off about a lot of things,” she continued.

“I learned more about love and being a woman. It took me three years but I have finally figured out a daily practice and can actually keep it for more than a few days in a row.”

Fast forward to July, the siblings joined forces to launch their own gin brand, Chablais, inspired by family trips to the Chablis vineyard in France during their childhood.

Emma added that she “loved having the opportunity to create something with my brother Alex”.
