Emmerdale fans are sure they know who Aaron Dingle is set to end up dating next after actor Danny Miller reprised his role as the troubled character. Aaron was kidnapped by Cain and Caleb after he stole money from gangsters and feared for his life – but he’s fuming to be back in the village.
He’s split from his Italian beau Marco, divorced from ex-husband Robert Sugden and seemingly in the market for a new fling. Fans are now sure they know exactly who Aaron will fall for next.
In scenes aired on Monday (October 16), Aaron turned up to the Woolpack to find the rest of his family raising a glass to his grandmother Faith, who died last year after a breast cancer battle. Also in attendance was Nicky and his dad Caleb.

Fans are sure that Aaron and Nicky could fall into a romantic entanglement, but with the pair being first cousins, it hasn’t sat well with everyone. Speculating on Nicky splitting from his own boyfriend Suni, fans took to social media to share their thoughts.

One Reddit user posted: “Unless they radically change an existing character’s sexuality or bring a new character in though, then Aaron does have slim pickings in the village and I am SURE they don’t want Aaron single… or at the very least, not sleeping with someone.”
As another replied: “Can’t be Nicky as they’re cousins & he’s with Suni!” someone else argued: “They’re Dingles remember, so being related doesn’t stop them.” Another fan posted: “He’s a dingle, that won’t stop him, if anything he go for it probably cause more drama since he clearly resents everyone. Imagine Chas, Cain and Caleb’s reaction especially if he tries to steal Nicky from Suni. He might be like, ‘I don’t care if he’s not single’. I mean he has form with Robert and Chrissie!”
However, others are suggesting Aaron could go the other way and end up with Suni, with one Redditor writing: “I think Aaron will target Suni even though he’s going out with his cousin Nicky. Unfortunately for Nicky he is Caleb’s son. It’ll be Aaron’s way of getting back at Caleb for helping Cain kidnap him and taking his money off him.
“Nicky and Suni are all loved up but Suni is in a bad place right now after hearing his dad is partly responsible for his uncle Rishi’s death. Does he tell Jai the truth or does he keep it hidden and then just spiral in the coming weeks. I hope Suni stays true to Nicky and resists Aaron but wouldn’t be surprised if does cheat with him as his head is all messed up.”

While others have suggested a romance with lawyer Ethan could be on the cards, more fans are still crossing their fingers for Ryan Hawley to return as Robert and pick up where he left off with Aaron. The actor was spotted at a cast party last year, and even Danny Miller is keen on getting him back in the Dales.
He told Inside Soap: “Every day I still get messages from people saying, “Bring back Robron!’ – I’m amazed! I’d love to work with Ryan again but it’s just a case of whether I can talk him round”.
