Emmerdale fans seem to think Victor Anderson could be stringing a web of lies after he revealed that he is suffering with an aneurysm.
The father of Vicar Charles has caused quite a stir ever since he arrived in the Yorkshire village following his prison stint and criminal past.
But during Friday night’s episode (July 7), after another dispute with Charles in the street, his ex Claudette noticed that Victor appeared to grab his chest once the argument was over.
Later on, when the pair had a conversation, Victor revealed to Claudette that his health is currently in a bad way and he has an “unruptured brain aneurysm”.
Victor said: “It’s sitting in my brain, lurking there. Letting me know I could pop off at any moment. I didn’t even want to tell you or Charles. I don’t want his pity, I want his love.”
However, due to Victor’s scandalous past, some viewers seemed to think that he could be fibbing.
Heading over to Twitter, fans shared their thoughts.
One spectator wrote: “Oh here we go. Victor is going to have a fake illness, isn’t he.”
Another echoed: “Of course he has an aneurysm. Had to be something wrong with him, or is there?”
A third penned: “Victor claiming he’s got an aneurysm – Yeah he’s definitely lying. I think Victor used to be abusive.”
“Victor doesn’t want any sympathy, good because he ain’t f*****g getting any!” Another viewer fumed.
Although it’s not been confirmed yet if Victor is telling the truth or not, viewers appeared to have another gripe with the Anderson family.
On Friday night, after a long absence, Charle’s son Ethan returned to show.
Happy to find out what’s been going on since he was away, Ethan got reacquainted with his grandma Claudette, while his dad Charles also gave him an update later on.
But viewers were not best pleased to see Ethan again and headed over to Twitter to complain.
One viewer fumed: “Oh no, Naomi goes and Ethan comes back.”
While another frustrated fan said: “Ethan is back another miserable character ffs.”
