Emmerdale star Sophie Powles has revealed she is pregnant with her second child.
The actress, 34, best known for playing Holly Barton on the long-running ITV soap, confirmed the happy news on Friday (July 20).
Sophie welcomed her first child – Marli Ocean Waters – in August 2021, and now the pair are getting ready to welcome another baby.

Taking to her Instagram, Sophie revealed her growing bump for the first time while holding her daughter in the air.
The soap star can be seen wearing a bikini in the snap as the sun set behind the mother-and-daughter pair.

Sophie wrote in the caption: “Another little friend joining us on our adventures.”
Fans of the Emmerdale star soon flooded the comments section with their well wishes and congratulations.
“Ahhh the best news! So happy for you all,” said one follower.
Someone else said: “Congrats guys!” while a third quipped: “Such a gorgeous photo.”
Sophie first made her appearance playing Holly in 2009 as part of the famous Barton family.

Holly was a beloved character with a history of drug abuse and some of her major storylines included drug dealing, stealing money for drugs and babysitting Viv’s children whilst high.
She left the show in 2012 when her storyline saw her move to London but returned in 2016 where she began stealing – and then left the same year.
The star announced that she was pregnant in summer 2021 and welcomed a beautiful child with her partner Mark Waters.
The couple landed on a very unique name for their new arrival.

She shared the news on Instagram with a picture of her daughter’s leg and wrote in the caption: “Nearly a month ago our little girl joined us. Marli Ocean Waters, you are magic. Photo by dad.”
Mark shared the same sweet snap on his profile and added: “Marli Ocean Waters, I can’t believe I get to be your dad. I will spend the rest of my life showing you how much I love you. Your mum is pretty cool too.”
