In 2021, when Mike and Gary received their sentences, Judge Richard Inyundo conveyed to them that there had not been the sole young men to encounter challenges as a result of the Covid pandemic.

He said: “But many people in far more difficult positions than you did not make the decision to go into criminality and certainly did not make the decision to go into very serious criminality, which frankly both of you made the decision to do with your eyes wide open.”

The judge informed the telly sensation that he had fulfilled “an important role” within the “organisation which made the arrangements for the supply of large amounts” of drugs.

Additionally, the man presiding over the court proceeding remarked that Mike’s actions had cast a cloud of suspicion over his girlfriend and her family, subjecting them to potential allegations of serious criminal involvement, resulting in her arrest but eventual release without any further action.
