Britain’s Got Talent viewers were left fuming at their TV screens on Sunday night (June 4) after the show’s wild card was revealed.
After five nights of jaw-dropping live performances in the semi-finals, series 16 of BGT came to a close on Sunday with ten finalists battling it out in one last bid to be crowned the champ.
As always, the winner will also be leaving the competition with the whooping £250,000 cash prize and that iconic place at The Royal Variety Performance.

And it’s fair to say the grand final kicked off with a bang – with hosts Ant and Dec introducing the budding entertainers hoping to be crowned the champ.
But as soon as the wild card was revealed to be Tonikaku fans were not too impressed and took to Twitter to share their thoughts.
“Oh for f***s sake all the talented people on this show and they used the wildcard to put through the I’m wearing pants guy. THIS IS WHY THIS COUNTRY IS A JOKE,” raged one person.”
Another fumed: “What a stupid wildcard. Most were lots better in third place in the previous 4 semis.
“That wildcard? What the actual f**k. So many good acts they could’ve picked. Then putting a rubbish one through is proving the show is obviously fixed,” said another.
“Not a chance have they put him in as the wild card!! Got a good mind to turn it off! Pathetic decision!!” said a fourth viewer.
As viewers will know Tonikaku’s act involves posing in strange positions in a tight pair of speedos and saying ‘don’t worry, I’m wearing!” and then having the audience shout “pants!”
As for his final performance, it went down a treat with the audience and judges.
Bruno proclaimed: “I don’t think any of us will ever, ever forget you,” while Alesha revealed she had broken her ring from laughing so hard.
“You were absolutely brilliant,” Simon chimed in to say – followed by a roar of applause from the audience.
