Gogglebox fans were left in hysterics as fan favourites Giles Wood and Mary Killen discussed what Tom Jones fans throw at him these days.
The pair sat down to watch an episode of hit ITV talent show where talented performers were taking on the persona of their idol Tom Jones.
As they took in the show and praised one contestant for his vocal ability the pair began to ponder the days when the Welsh icon sent young women into a frenzy and they would throw their knickers on stage at him.

Seeing an opportunity to crack a joke about the situation Giles then suggested that these days they might be throwing a very different item – incontinence pads.
Shocked at the line of conversation viewers then took to Twitter to share their thoughts on the discussion.
One wrote: “Nine minutes in and we got Giles with a Tena Joke… priceless.”
A second added: “I am crying Giles is hilarious. I so missed Gogglebox this is the type of entertainment you need.”
A third offered: “No they throw Tena pads… Giles and Mary back with a bang then.”
A fourth social media user tweeted: “New #Gogglebox is lifting the mood! And Giles & Mary’s convo about Tom Jones was hilarious….these days, fans no longer throw their knickers, they throw their Tena pads! That gave me the giggle I needed!”
A fifth said: “‘Do you think they still throw knickers at Tom Jones?’ ‘No they throw Tena ladies now.’ HAHAHAAAA Creased up here #Gogglebox.”
Giles and Mary recently spoke out about their future on the show after admitting they have had “offers” elsewhere.
Talking to the Daily Star Mary said: “We have been offered other shows. But we’re happy with Gogglebox.”
The couple, who hilariously refer to each other as “Nutty”, admit they get recognised all over the world thanks to their success on the show.
Mary added: “People come up to us and say, ‘We love you on Gogglebox’. We get recognised even when we’re abroad.
“It’s happened in Italy, Belgium and Australia. It’s surprising. And it’s people from all walks of life.
“It’s surreal because we didn’t know they could watch Gogglebox there. But they tell us they illegally watch it on VPNs.”
Gogglebox is on Channel 4 Fridays at 9 pm.
