Helen Skelton requests help from fans ahead of her new TV project with Dan Walker

TV presenters Helen Skelton and Dan Walker have requested help from fans ahead of their brand new series.

The pair will soon begin filming their new show which showcases the Pennines in England.

But the factual programme which will be called Dan & Helen’s Pennine Adventure is in need of suggestions from locals who live on either side of the hill range which takes in parts of Lancashire.

The news comes after Helen reunited with her “Leeds gang” a year after she split from her husband Richie Myler.

The Countryfile presenter previously settled in Leeds after Richie signed for Leeds Rhinos in 2017.

But due to the breakdown of her eight-year marriage in April 2022, Helen confirmed that she and their three children – seven-year-old Ernie, six-year-old Louis and one-year-old Elsie were moving back to her home town in Cumbria.

The 39-year-old now lives on her parent’s dairy farm which is located on the edge of the Lake District.

But earlier this week, Helen shared a snap on her Instagram Story which showed her reunited with the friends that she made while living in Leeds.

Posting the photo online, she penned: “Grateful for good people. Thanks for the day trip Leeds gang.”
