Holly Willoughby will reportedly be back on This Morning next week.

Last weekend, Phillip, 61, admitted that he had lied about an “unwise but not illegal” affair with a much younger male employee – despite previously telling Holly it was just a rumour.

Following the news of his fling, Holly took an extended break from the show but is expected to return on Monday but it remains unknown who will join her on the famous blue sofa.

It comes after the mother of three released a short statement on social media over the weekend, admitting she was “hurt” over her former pal’s “lies.”

Holly said at the time: “It has taken time to process yesterday’s news,” she wrote in an Instagram statement on Saturday (May 27).

Phillip Schofield has left the ITV show after over 20 years

“When reports of this relationship first surfaced, I asked Phil directly if this was true and was told it was not. It’s been very hurtful to now find out that this was a lie.”

It comes after Kim Woodburn has shared her views on the ITV scandal with Phillip and This Morning, whilst letting rip at presenter Holly.

The star, who also shot to fame on Channel 4’s How Clean is Your House?, appeared on GB News as part of a panel discussing the current ITV situation following the news of Phillip Schofield’s affair with a teenager.

Appearing alongside presenter Dan Wootton, Kim made her feelings clear as she demanded Holly Willoughby be sacked over the scandal.

As Dan noted that Holly may continue This Morning as a solo presenter, Kim launched her foul-mouthed attack: “I bet she does that little b****, I bet she does.”

Her rant against the blonde ITV presenter continued as Kim said: “In all the years she’s been on that show she has never taken part, all we hear is “oh Phillip” hahaha.
