Hollywood icon Nicole Kidman looks unrecognisable as she shows off bold new hairstyle

Nicole Kidman has shocked fans with her brand new hairstyle that made her look completely different in her new Amazon Prime series Expats.

The star shook up her look and debuted a short bob hairpiece for her role as she ditched her strawberry blonde tresses for the show.

In a sneak peek of the film, Nicole reveals her new short curled hairstyle in an intense and emotional scene.

The six-part series is set to premiere in early 2024 on the streaming site.

Expats follows “the vibrant lives of a close-knit expatriate community: where affluence is celebrated, friendships are intense but knowingly temporary, and personal lives, deaths and marriages are played out publicly—then retold with glee.

Nicole Kidman is starring as Margaret on the show alongside other names such as Ji-young Yoo as Mercy, Jack Huston as David Starr, and Sarayu Blue as Hilary Starr.

Nicole officially wrapped filming her new Amazon series The Expats last December.

The new show will have the world premiere screening of its feature-length penultimate episode at the Toronto International Film Festival on September 8.

The show is set in Hong Kong in 2014 and follows the lives of three American women whose lives get tangeled up after a sudden family tragedy.

Nicole is working on the film as an executive producer alongside Lulu Wang who serves as a creator, director, and writer for Expats.

The series delves into what happens when the line between victimhood and culpability becomes blurred.

First-look images that were released last week show Nicole’s character Margaret looking tense as she read her phone in the bath.

Her husband Clarke (Brian Tee) also looks upset lying on her lap during a car ride.

The show will be available to stream on Amazon Prime in early 2024.
