I’m A Celeb’s Gillian to make another confession after angering camp in contraband row

The tension is starting to mount on ITV’s I’m A Celebrity… South Africa as Gillian McKeith will open up on another secret.

The 63-year-old already caused shockwaves throughout the camp during Thursday night’s show (April 27) when she revealed that she hid teabags in her bra.

Now Gillian will leave her fellow co-stars stunned once more as she gathers them round for another confession in upcoming scenes.

But this isn’t the only potential revelation that will come to light on Friday night’s show, as campmates will be left shocked by the big news that will affect them all.

After days of separation, viewers will finally witness the two camps becoming one.

But just as the celebs begin to feel settled, presenters Ant and Dec will make their way into camp to deliver some unexpected news.

Walking into campsite, Dec tells Ant: “I’m a bit nervous about this one.”

Sharing similar thoughts, Ant then says: “Yeah, I am, it kind of rocks it a bit…”

The Geordie duo then reveal that three celebrities will take part in the first survival trial of the series and that they will each pick another celebrity to participate alongside them.

However the pair that loses the trial will have to leave camp for good and will miss out on their chance to be crowned the I’m A Celeb legend.

After the campers hear the announcement, they are evidently stunned by the news as Carol Vorderman and Janice Dickinson can both be heard screaming “Oh no!”

The news also comes at a low blow for Coronation Street actor Andy Whyment who only just entered into main camp.

Viewers will have to wait and see what lies ahead for the two celebs and who which pair will be first to receive the boot.

Since returning to screens on Monday night (April 24), the popular ITV series managed to pull in 4.9million viewers who tuned in to watch the show at its peak.

But this falls flat compared to 10million viewers who watched the show’s original format when it launched last year November.

However the lower numbers could be to do with the fact that the show is pre-recorded – an aspect which has left a multitude of fans fuming.
