Inside I’m A Celeb star’s wild first day out of ITV jungle as contestants jet back to UK

I’m A Celebrity icon Nicola McLean revealed what campmates can expect after leaving the jungle as she exposed her wild first day after leaving camp.

The former glamour model appeared on the ITV reality show back in 2008 and narrowly missed out on competing in the celebrity cyclone in the last few days in camp. During her time on the show, she famously had a row with musician David Van Day and almost left the camp due to home sickness.

On Sunday night (December 10), former Made In Chelsea star Sam Thompson was crowned the newest King of the Jungle. Now, the former Page 3 model has revealed what the hunk can expect to get up to in the first day out of camp.

Speaking exclusively to Daily Star, the blonde bombshell revealed that she “went all out” for her first meal outside of the famous jungle. She told us: “So the catering is unbelievable there, like I can’t tell you how exceptional the food is, it is so good.

“So the first meal I got was literally a Full English, like sausage, beans, bacon, eggs – I went all out. I ate so much. Dr Bob weighed me and I was teeny tiny.

“He said, ‘Don’t eat what you want to eat because you will be sick’ and I thought, ‘Oh yeah, bore off. I know how to work my stomach’. So I get out, I eat a full English Breakfast, like massive.”

The mum-of-two went on to reveal that she was then driven to the Versace Hotel where she prepared for a glamorous photoshoot. But the TV star made sure to stop off for a bite to eat before the modelling gig.

Nicola went on: “Then we were driving to the Versace Hotel and there’s a MacDonald’s on the way. So I pull over and I get a sausage and egg McMuffin and a hash brown and a Diet Coke.

The former campmate went on to explain that she didn’t pay for a single meal in the first 24 hours because ITV bosses didn’t return any of her personal belongings yet. She added: “I didn’t pay for it because I didn’t have any cards or anything. I don’t know who paid for that, but I got a McDonald’s.”

The doting mum then revealed that she ran up to her luxurious room where she indulged in a bottle of champagne, a tub of ice cream and a bar of chocolate. She continued: “After that, I went into the hotel room, I had champagne and ice cream and I don’t even eat ice cream and chocolate, I don’t eat chocolate either. Then I was doing a photoshoot for the Daily Star.”

But she didn’t stop there, with the blonde beauty finishing the night off with a scrumptious seafood buffet at the lavish hotel. Nicola went on: “Then that night there was a seafood buffet in the Versace Hotel, so I’ve gone all out.

“I had seafood, I had cocktails, I was living my best life.” But the star warned that her well-deserved day of luxury soon came back to bite her when she spent the rest of the evening curled around a toilet bowl.

She bluntly confessed: “I ended up throwing up all night.” But what may surprise viewers is that the model had no negative reactions to the horrific food trials she endured on the show.

Nicola explained: “No honestly, I was absolutely fine. I spoke to Dr Bob after the trial and said ‘What happens if I’m sick?’.

“And he was like, ‘Don’t make yourself sick. I promise you it’s worse coming up because you haven’t chewed it like you would normal food. It will be like doing it all over again.’

“So no, I wasn’t sick after the eating trial. I was absolutely fine, it was all good.”
