Love Island hunk Montel McKenizie is currently making waves in the famous Majorca villa.
Despite not being an OG Islander, it’s fair to say the 25-year-old from East London has caused quite a stir in recent episodes.
Montel entered the show as a bombshell – and he turned several of the girl’s heads, including Northern babe Leah Taylor.

But then the infamous Casa Amor happened, and despite sticking with Leah, Montel found himself in hot water after his bedroom antics with Tink came to light.
But away from the show and cameras, Montel lives a very different life – playing footy on the pitch as well as having a normal 9 to 5 job.
So as his time on the show heats up, Daily Star is taking a look inside Montel’s her-setting life.
Love Island stint
Montel made his Love Island debut as a bombshell, along with now-booted Islander Mal Nicol.
Prior to walking into the villa, he revealed his top three girls as Catherine, Leah and Ella – and fast forward to now and he is currently in a couple with Leah.
However, during Casa, Montel decided to get to know Brummie Babe Tink – with the pair sharing several smooches.
He decided to stick with Leah though – much to her happiness and Tink’s annoyance.
Footy career
When he’s not cracking on in the villa, Montel can be found doing his thing on a footy pitch.
The self-confessed ladies man is a semi-professional footballer who plays for Hemel Hempstead Town as a defender.
He’s the third footballer to join this series behind Scott Van Der Sluis, who left Shelbourne Football Club to enter the villa, and Tyrique Hyde who plays for Lewes FC in central midfield.
Lavish holidays
Even semi-pro footballers are no strangers to a lavish holiday – and Montel is the perfect example of that.
Over on his Instagram, the hunk has shared several IG-worthy snaps of him living his best life on trips abroad.
From hitting the lakes in Tennessee to soaking up in the sun in Dubai, it seems there’s no country Montel has not jetted off to for a break.
Surprise 9 to 5 job
When he’s not kicking balls on the pitch or living it up abroad in some jaw-dropping locations, Love Island 2023 star Montel is actually an account manager.
Speaking about his decision to take a break from his day job to join the villa, Montel said: “I just haven’t found someone I want to date, I’m always so busy with work and football!”
Love Island airs nightly on ITV2 and ITVX at 9pm
