Jamie Oliver is renowned for his culinary prowess and has proven himself to be equally adept at delivering cutting remarks.
The celebrity chef recently showcased his wit by unleashing a scathing one-liner on Jake Humphrey during a live appearance on Radio X alongside host Chris Moyles. Oliver had the studio in stitches as he responded to a question from the TV presenter with a savage retort.

The peculiar chain of communication began when Humphrey joined Jamie Oliver for a chat on the popular morning show on Radio X. Co-host Dominic Byrne revealed the upcoming guest, Jamie Oliver, which instantly piqued Humphrey’s interest.
The football pundit expressed his eagerness to have the restaurateur on his High Performance podcast but claimed he had been repeatedly ignored by Oliver, saying: “I’ve like literally reached out to Jamie Oliver about 50 times.”
Moyles, sensing an opportunity to play matchmaker, offered to let Humphrey record a message for Jamie Oliver, jokingly suggesting it could be “contractually binding” if Oliver responded live on the radio. Humphrey humorously added: “We don’t pay a fee, thanks.”

True to his word, Moyles revisited the topic when Jamie Oliver joined the show to discuss family anecdotes, taking time off, and, of course, Christmas dinner. Moyles introduced the question, saying: “So, let’s do some questions. The first one comes from a man called Jake Humphrey.”
However, Oliver didn’t appear to recognize that Humphrey was the one with a proposition for him and cheerfully greeted: “Hi Jake!” Moyles then played the recording of Humphrey’s request for the chef to join his podcast.
Amused by the on-air appeal, Oliver chuckled before delivering a blunt response: “Absolutely not.” Social media users lauded the chef’s quick wit, with one remarking: “Jamie Oliver completely mugging off Jake Humphrey is the feel-good content I didn’t know I needed.”
Another fan wrote: “Love that Jamie Oliver has pied him off.” A third chimed in: “Never thought I’d say this, but Jamie Oliver has gone up in my estimations.” A fourth humorously noted: “Not a fan of Oliver, but he’s just topped out there. Good lad.” And a fifth playfully added” “It almost makes me forgive him for ruining school dinners.”
