Jennifer Lopez banned her third husband Marc Anthony from the set of one Hollywood blockbuster because she was set to star in some very intimate scenes.
J-Lo refused to let her husband see while she was filming saucy scenes for 2010 movie The Back-Up Plan with Alex O’Loughlin. In it, Jennifer played Zoe, a woman who conceives twins via artificial insemination only to meet her dream man that very same day.
The rom-com featured quite a few “uncomfortable” scenes for Jen to film, as she told the Indian Express that Marc was allowed nowhere near. She explained: “I didn’t want to torture the poor guy. He shouldn’t be watching when I’m seducing another man on a kitchen table.

“Personally I don’t like doing love scenes at all, because they make me feel uncomfortable,” she expressed. She managed to convince film bosses to hire her a body double because of her own postpartum body – but not during sex scenes.
J-Lo originally married Marc in 2004, but by 2011 they had separated – and in 2014 their divorce was finalised. The pair welcomed twins together in 2008, Emme and Max. Jennifer experienced a “tremendous low” when their divorce came through, but are now said to be “great friends” after collaborating on more music together.
Now she’s back with Ben Affleck, but according to recent reports the rows between the pair have been increasing. The pair have five teenagers to take care of in their blended family – but also eight dogs and a cat.
One insider told Heat: “It’s a complete zoo at their house. Jen swears she’s the only one who ever deals with their mess – she’s always nagging Ben to help out more and to at least pick up their poop.”
They added: “His answer has been to hire a company to pick up the mess for them, which really bugs Jen, because he’s more than capable of doing for it himself, so in her view, he’s just being lazy. Jennifer is confrontational, but Ben’s style is to do these micro-aggressions and get under her skin that way. It’s pretty childish and not very healthy.”
The pair originally met while filming Gigli in 2001, while J-Lo was still married to Cris Judd. By 2002 they were engaged, and Jennifer is thought to have ordered a wedding dress costing $15,000 from Vera Wang – but two days before the ceremony it was called off.

In 2021, the pair were back together and confirmed they were finally married in July 2022. Jennifer wrote in her newsletter: “We did it. Love is beautiful. Love is kind. And it turns out love is patient. Twenty years patient.”
She wore a wedding dress “from an old movie” and exchanged vows in a “little chapel” together, giving “one another the rings they’ll wear for the rest of [their] lives.”
