Kate Ferdinand admitted moving in with hubby Rio was challenging as his home was plastered with photos of his late wife.
The former Towie star shares a blended family with the ex-England footballer since tying the knot together in 2019, four years after his partner Rebecca lost her battle with cancer.
Kate, 31, is pregnant with her second child, who will join their two-year-old boy Cree alongside 44-year-old Rio’s three kids from his first marriage – Lorenz, 16, Tate, 14, and 12-year-old Tia.

In her new book How To Build A Family, she said: “In the beginning, I found it really difficult because I felt as though I was coming into this already-made family with this already-made life and I was kind of on the outskirts.
“It felt like I was walking through someone else’s life – that I shouldn’t really be there – and I was embarrassed to invite my friends over.”
She continued: “As you walk into our home, there’s a spiralling staircase and, when I first moved in, behind it was a wall full of photos.
“Arranged as a family tree, it cascaded down from Rio’s and Rebecca’s grandparents all the way to the children. You could see this beautiful family from the minute you walked in.”
It comes as Kate appeared on ITV’s Lorraine and spoke about the family’s shock after Rio held down an intruder at their home until cops arrived.
The Met Police said they found “a 70-year-old man having been found in the garden of a residential property”.
“I didn’t really know what was going on.
“And because of everything Rio and the kids had been through, everyone would always ask me if they were OK, but they never thought that the person stepping in might be struggling as well.
“It’s hard, but this is why I like talking about it.
