Katie Price begs to be sent to prison as she’s ‘fed up’ with facing court

Katie Price has pleaded to be sent to prison because she is “fed up” of going to court.

The former model, 45, was declared bankrupt in 2019, and in July a court hearing took place at the Royal Courts of Justice over her £3.2million debt repayment.

Mum-of-five Katie is expected to give evidence at another bankruptcy hearing on September 14 in a bid to save her “Mucky Mansion” home.

Speaking on Michelle Visage’s Rule Breakers podcast, Katie said: “I’m so threatened with court letters. I’ve been to court more times than I’ve had hot dinners lately.

“I am not scared of court anymore. I have said, ‘Can’t you put me to prison just to cover it all? Just be done with it.’

“I’m fed up with the reminders and why I’m in it [court]. I genuinely don’t care if I go to prison.”

Katie is already planning to “do a story when I come out”, adding: “It’s a win-win situation isn’t it? Just do it.”

The TV personality revealed she would like to make a show about the experience and confessed that she “loves prison stuff”.

Katie wants to “experience what it’s like” in jail, and is already planning to tell her post-incarceration story if she does get banged up.

She said: “I love all the prison stuff and I can experience what it’s like in there.

“I could do a story when I come out of me in prison, and it’s a win-win situation isn’t it?

“It wouldn’t affect my job, it wouldn’t affect nothing. I wouldn’t be in there long.

“If they keep threatening me, just do it.”

The star swerved jail in December 2021 after she flipped her BMW while drink driving near her Sussex home.

She was declared bankrupt in 2019 and she most recently failed to attend a remote hearing over her £3.2 million debt repayment, which took place at specialist insolvency and companies court in July.

The mother of five was accused of a “breach of income payments agreement”.

If Katie’s legal battle fails she could be faced to give up her £2 million house, which was made famous on her TV show.

It comes after Katie hit back at trolls who questioned her over her bankruptcy, saying she still “owns her £2.5million house” and stated: “Never knock someone who is bankrupt, we all can go there but it doesn’t mean that it is all bad.”
