Katie Price’s mum ‘given second chance at life’ after undergoing lung transplant

Katie Price’s mother Amy claims she has been ‘given a second chance at life’ after undergoing a lung transplant.

This comes after Amy, 71, was told she had a terminal lung condition.

She was previously diagnosed with idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis and medical professionals informed her she had a life expectancy of up to five years.

However, she has now been told that she has been given longer to live due to having the lung procedure.

Amy has just published her own autobiography, titled The Last Word, and had been keeping the news of her health update under wraps until now.

Talking about her mum, Katie said: “What you see is what you get with her, that’s where I get that from. I guess she’s protecting her family and this is her way because she thought she was going to die.”

Amy’s new book also reflects on Katie’s plastic surgery addiction and her past relationships.

Katie’s mum claimed her third husband Kieran Hayler once kissed her on the lips as she recalled him trying it on with her.

Amy discussed his past infidelities and suggested he then turned his attention to her.

She said: “Once, after we had been for a meal at Kate’s house, Kieran and I kissed goodbye cheek on cheek and he [Kieran] ‘accidentally’ kissed me on my lips.”

“Later, I had a text from him saying, ‘That was nice’. I was shocked and tried to ignore it.”

Kieran’s reps have denied this claim and released a statement that read: “Disturbingly, no thought or consideration is being given to the children of the fathers being slandered, caught up yet again in a vicious hate campaign of untruths in a thinly veiled attempt to place blame on others.

“All these men have one common denominator – and that is Katie Price. An insightful side of Amy Price, a predictable read. More fiction than fact.”

Katie shares her two youngest kids, her son Jett, 9, and her daughter Bunny, 8, with Kieran.

She also shares her second eldest son, Junior, 18, and eldest daughter Princess, 16, with Australian TV personality Peter Andre.

Then she also has her eldest child, Harvey, 21, who is fathered by Dwight Yorke.
