American Idol fans have begged for a replacement for judge Katy Perry after a bizarre video of the singer recently circulated.
In the video, Katy wore a tight black leather catsuit which featured slashes down the arms and a plunging neckline that exposed a lot of skin.
She wore her signature brunette locks in loose waves and paired the look with knee-high leather stiletto boots.

Co-star Lionel Richie noted that there was a “cat woman among them” and fellow judge Luke Bryan branded her “Katy Purry”.
Perry then jumped up onto her chair and threw her leg up in the air and down onto the desk in front of her before making her hands look like cat claws.

Katy joked that she was “on the prowl for talent” as she began to put her hands over Bryan’s shoulder.
Her seemingly unimpressed co-star looked as though he was ignoring her as she continued to “paw” Luke for his attention.
The video clip was posted on the American Idol’s official Instagram page and fans were clearly outraged by her antics.
Fans flocked to the comment section to slam the star over her cat-like behaviour.

One typed: “Can’t stand her, they need to get rid of her [and] Luke.”
Another wrote: “She is ridiculous,” while a third said they had “lost all respect” for her.
A third even branded her “so stupid”.
This isn’t the first time the star has been slammed during the talent show’s most recent season and viewers have had a lot to say about Perry’s behaviour.

At the beginning of the season, she was accused of mom-shaming contestant Sara Beth Liebe.
The 25-year-old decided to leave her American Idol journey behind to try and spend more time with her three kids, to which fans said Katy had a “dismissive” reaction.
She was briefly replaced with Alanis Morissette and fans were so happy with the decision that a petition was formulated to try and make her stay as a permanent member of the judging panel.
However, Alanis eventually left the talent show and Katy returned to her place.
