Love Island bombshell Kaz Crossley has shared an update on her struggles with alopecia with her 1.1million Instagram followers.
The 28-year-old told fans that she had been suffering from hair loss due to stress after spending time in a Dubai jail after a video of her snorting a suspicious white powder was leaked in 2020.
After her release, she returned to the UK but, shortly after, jetted off to the Dominican Republic for a friend’s birthday and admitted that she was wearing her Kaz Bands to cover up the bald patch while on the trip.

“I’ve just arrived in the Dominican Republic to celebrate my best friend’s birthday, lucky us. But due to recent stress, I’m experiencing hair loss,” Kaz wrote at the time.
“It’s got a lot thinner, I also have a small bald patch right at the front of my head. I’m trying to cover it by changing my parting or wearing one of my @kazbands (of course) but when I tie my hair up it’s still so noticeable,” she added.
Sharing an update with fans, Kaz confessed that she “had a good cry” after taking snaps of herself and explained that she had been battling her “insecurity”.
“After I took this pic last night I had a good cry. Sometimes you will have days where you don’t feel strong, and that’s okay – it’s so important to let it out!” she wrote.
“I think the mixture of realising I’m losing more hair, mixed with the fact I will be heading back to the UK (real life) hit me hard. Anyone going through the same right now I really feel you!
“The insecurity of people noticing it and the need to hide it, the worry if it’ll get worse and the constant reminder of such a difficult time every time I look in the mirror. Trust me I feel anyone else dealing with this and we will get through it together!”
Kaz concluded: “Don’t let these thoughts take over for too long. We are too blessed to be stressed let it out and keep going. You’ve got this.”
