Kerry Katona has admitted that her reunion with Brian McFadden last year was “sad”, as one of her daughters will never get to meet her father – just like Kerry.
The pop star duo, who split up in 2004 and divorced in 2006, welcomed two daughters during their two-year marriage – Molly and Lilly-Sue.
However they reunited in September 2022 for the first time since their split to celebrate eldest daughter Molly’s graduation from Trinity College Dublin.

Former Atomic Kitten star Kerry said: “That is the first time that Molly and Lilly have ever seen me in the same room as Brian – how sad is that?”
She explained to RSVP magazine : “Molly and Lilly don’t remember us ever being together and that is sad for them as well. It was so lovely seeing Brian’s uncles and aunts and to be able to give them a kiss and cuddles. It was great to be there for Molly but it was sad for me.”
The mum-of-five added: “Molly was dancing with Brian and I was watching and I got to thinking DJ is never going to meet her dad and I never got to meet mine.
“Then I just saw Brian with Heidi and DJ and it was all really good and I tried not to linger in the past.”
Kerry shares Molly and Lilly with Brian, Heidi and Maxwell with ex Mark Croft, and Dylan-Jorge (DJ) with her late ex-husband George Kay.
George and Kerry got married in 2014 but split in 2017.
He sadly died in 2019 after issues with drugs.
While Kerry’s love-life has had its ups and downs, she is now happily settled with husband-to-be Ryan Mahoney.
She’s also had a huge career turnaround after previous money struggles, launching her OnlyFans account which helped her become a millionaire.
Kerry even managed to persuade pal Katie Price to join the platform, which she did.
