S Club 7 members are mourning the loss of their bandmate Paul Cattermole as tributes flood in from former Atomic Kitten Kerry Katona and X Factor star Rylan Clark.
Friends, family and the group released a statement to announced Paul’s passing.
“It is with great sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of our beloved son and brother Paul Cattermole,” it read. “Paul was found yesterday, 6th April 2023 at his home in Dorset and was pronounced dead later that afternoon.

“While the cause of death is currently unknown, Dorset Police has confirmed that there were no suspicious circumstances. Paul’s family, friends and fellow members of S Club request privacy at this time.”
Kerry Katona shared a snapshot of an article about Paul’s shocking death and wrote: “This is absolutely heartbreaking, my thoughts are with his loved ones.”
Rylan shared a tweet which read: “Sending all the love to you all xxx,” underneath a statement posted on the S Club 7 social media accounts.
The tweet read: “We are truly devastated by the passing of our brother Paul.
“There are no words to describe the deep sadness and loss we all feel. “We were so lucky to have had him in our lives and are thankful for the amazing memories we have,” they concluded.
Journalist Dan Wootton also tweeted a sweet tribute to Paul, explaining that his death was “heartbreaking.”
“Paul Cattermole, a pop legend as part of S Club 7. I will never forget the joy of this day and the impending excitement of seeing you reunited again soon.”
He ended his message with: “Reach for the stars now, sir, just heartbreaking.”
Loose Women’s India Willoughby also wrote: “Omg. Such sad news. Paul was always my favourite.
“Cheeky smile. Be with the brightest stars now. Love and condolences to all his family and friends.”
