Les Dennis finished her goodbye message with four words for Strictly bosses after he became the first to be eliminated.
The showbiz legend faced radio presenter Nikita Kanda in the first dance off of the series in Strictly Come Dancing, after failing to impress on Saturday evening (September 30). This week, the judges’ scores were combined with last week’s scores, as well as the public vote.
Sadly it meant Les, 69, and Nikita, 28, were in the bottom two. Nikita then won the votes from Craig Revel Horwood, Motsi Mabuse and Anton Du Beke, while head judge Shirley Ballas agreed. That meant it was time for Les to hang up his dancing shoes.

Speaking to host Tess Daly about his time on the show, Les said: “I’ve had the best time, this lady [pro partner Nancy Xu] has been amazing, a great teacher, she’s really put me through my paces.” Turning to Nancy, he went on: “I did as well as I could for you, I hope!”

Les then turned to his co-stars and said: “That lot up there, I’m going to miss you so much. I really appreciate and understand the judge’s point of view, thank you so much (to Shirley) for giving me a 10 for entertainment. I hope I’ve entertained, that’s what I came here for.”
He then had a message directly for bosses and the people who put the show on, and said: “You’re just all amazing!” Les had performed his Samba to Rock The Boat by Hues Corporation.
His pro partner Nancy said: “It’s been a journey. This is such a short but a sweet journey. A lot of challenges we all know, but to see you (to Les) every day improve yourself. I respect you so, so much. I just want to say thank you to the judges and all my fellow friends. Thank you Strictly Come Dancing for all of your support. Thank you Les.”

Nikita and her pro partner Gorka Marques danced the Charleston to Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It) by Beyoncé. Choosing to save her, Craig said Nikita was “most improved”, while Motsi said she was “extremely better in the dance off”.
Anton said Nikita and Gorka “did the best job”, while Shirley, who did not have to vote, agreed and said she would have saved the duo too. Nikita will join the other remaining couples next week for Movie Week.
Strictly Come Dancing continues Saturday at 6.20pm on BBC One, and Sunday at 7:15pm on BBC One
