The reported muggy temperatures will cause chaos for the crew and beauty departments as contestants and host Maya Jama prepare to enter the villa in style.
Thunderstorms are predicted to last throughout the weekend with show producers no doubt praying that filming isn’t a washout.
This unpredictable weather is said to be common for the location at this time of the year, and on most occasions the thunder passes without any major issues.
10 sexy singletons will enter the villa during Monday’s launch show and will be coupled up by the public in a shock twist.
Opening up ahead of the start of series 10, Maya said: “It feels so exciting, I was full of nerves for my first series because I was wondering what it would be like. Now, I know I feel really ready and excited, I just can’t wait to get started.
“Now there’s a bit more of an expectation, I just want to make sure that I live up to that expectation again.
“The pressure is on for my stylist because the dresses did very well last series!”
Despite the first episode being days away, Maya says she’s yet to confirm her outfits.
She explained: “We haven’t decided yet, but I’ve said that I want to look beachy, sexy and fun. I’d say ‘Ibiza summer’ is the vibe I’m going for.”
The cast of the 2023 summer series was revealed on Monday (May 29) and Maya has shared who she’d love to see in the famous villa.
She said: “Nick Cannon because he’s good with the ladies so would get stuck in straight away, I’d also pick Paris Hilton from the 2000s and Gemma Collins, she would be hilarious.”
Maya revealed all about the upcoming Love Island launch twist during an appearance on ITV’s Good Morning Britain.
