Love Island fans are convinced that Ron Hall and Lana Jenkins have “no chemistry” after they became boyfriend and girlfriend.
Sunday night’s episode (February 26) saw Ron pop the question to Lana, with the 25-year-old financial advisor asking the blonde beauty to be his first ever girlfriend.
Sitting in the lavish garden of the South African villa, Ron asked 25-year-old makeup artist Lana the all important question, which soon left him calling her his “Mrs”.

Accepting his proposal of sorts, Lana spoke in the Beach Hut where she said she “predicted” that the pair would go official, admitting she knew it from day one.
But some fans aren’t convinced that the pair share a strong bond, with many questioning if there’s any chemistry at all after they experienced a rocky first few weeks in the villa.
Taking to Twitter to voice their concerns, many fans have been airing their thoughts under the ITV2 reality-dating show’s hashtag.
“Ron and Lana are so boring and give brother & sister vibes. Love Island, give up that agenda, it’s not working,” penned one.
While a second said: “Ron and Lana are gonna win and that don’t sit right with me. They are sooooo boring, zero chemistry, nothing entertaining about them. Just bland untoasted bread and I see no appeal.”
“I don’t see the chemistry between Lana and Ron,” added a third.
Someone else noted something that seemed to raise eyebrows: “Ron said he’s been single for 4 years…. But Lana is his first girlfriend? The math isn’t mathing.”
And shortly before the proposal to become boyfriend and girlfriend was aired, one person penned: “Ron and Lana still have no chemistry as a couple btw.”
While someone else echoed: “Lana & Ron have zero chemistry I give them a month tops outside before there’s pics of him in [the papers] kissing other girls in the club.”
But some fans were overjoyed for the couple and were quick to swoon over the pairing when they finally became an item.
“Am I the only person that finds Ron & Lana cute?” asked one as the pair made things official.
While a second said: “Ron and Lana are just [heart eye emoji]. Buzzing for them being official… it’s been coming.”
Love Island airs every night at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX, with Unseen Bits on Saturdays and Aftersun at 10pm on Sundays.
