Love Island Games fans weren’t happy when host Maya Jama disappeared and was replaced by a reality star.
Fans flocked to social media to share their concern after Maya didn’t appear on two episodes of the show and instead, Vanderpump Rules star Ariana Madix took over hosting duties. However, it turns out that the star had just taken a short holiday and handed the reigns over to Ariana.
One fan took to X, formerly known as Twitter, and penned: “No offence to Ariana Madix (I don’t watch Vanderpump Rules) but why is she here hosting the recoupling and where the heck is Maya Jama??? Hellooooo?”

Another wrote: “WHERE IS MAYA JAMA?!??” While a third added: “Ariana again? Where is Maya Jama?!?!” Maya took to Instagram to inform her followers that she had just jetted off to Italy for a few days as a break.
After announcing the show on Instagram at the end of October Maya said: “The biggest and most talked about dating show in the world is back and for the first time ever we’re bringing together an international all-star cast read for a second chance at love and down for some healthy competition.”
The program features nine former UK stars. Former contestants include Curtis Pritchard, Megan Barton Hanson, Georgia Steel and Jack Fowler.
