Love Island star Tasha Ghouri has revealed she almost got a part in the upcoming live-action Barbie film.
Tasha became a fan-favourite on last year’s series of Love Island, where she met her now-boyfriend Andrew Le Page and finished in fourth place behind winners Davide and Ekin-Su.
But the blonde bombshell was very close to swapping her sun-soaked villa stint for Hollywood as she almost got cast as a dancer in the highly-anticipated Barbie flick.

The highly-anticipated franchise flick is set to hit cinemas in July and stars Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling as the title characters, as well as a huge supporting cast that includes acting great Helen Mirren.

But Tasha told fans she almost joined them as she made it to the final round of auditions to be a dancer in the film.
Taking to Twitter, she wrote: “Fun fact I got to the final round of the barbie film audition as a dancer but didn’t get the job – filming was at same time as LI, crazy how the universe works.”
She also shared a snap of herself as looking great as Barbie thanks to the Barbie Selfie Generator which has gone viral and seen viewers see what they’d look like as the iconic doll.

Alongisde the photo read: “This Barbie is a model with a superpower,” a sweet reference to the fact she uses a cochlear implant because she was born deaf.
Her proud dad Tarek was quick to heap praise on her for the other dancing jobs she’s won.
Tarek replied: “I remember that phone call ! however, you paid your own homage in the dance at @MOVEITSHOW last month. I hope next is bratz ! That bratz dolls on tour gig in Newcastle is a story.”

And fans wanting to know what Tasha would have looked like in the film can cast their minds back to the the time she dressed up as the pink doll during the talent show.
Tasha left her co-stars like Luca Bish swooning when she broke out of a box dressed in pink latex and showed off her killer dance moves by the firepit.
