Some couples like big romantic gestures, whilst others like some night time action, but Jess and Sammy like sitting in silence, it seems.

Whilst looking cosy, the pair admitted that sometimes they just sit in silence as they hinted that there are only so many things that they can discuss with each other.

Christine asked the duo about some of the behind-the-scenes moments in the villa that the audience at home to not get to see, and Sammy admitted that he only had fun on the show.

“It was genuinely the best experience of my life like I haven’t laughed that much since school, I haven’t had that much fun,” he explained.

Whilst Jess added that the group were always in a “bubble” but they would run out of things to talk about, so they would be creative and come up with silly ideas.

She revealed: “It’s constant laughs and because you’re in such a bubble, all you’re doing is chatting and getting to know people.

“Sometimes it gets to those sort of where it’s like you’ve talked so much, ‘what can we think of?’ like to do.

“We just come up with all these funny ideas and making dance routines. I don’t know, just being weird and just laughing.”

However, Christine then moved the conversation along to their own relationship, where she mentioned how people do just become comfortable with silence and Sammy couldn’t help but agree.

He admitted: “You do, and we said that about each other, obviously with certain people, you have awkward silences.

“But even me and Jess, we’d sit next to each other for about 45 minutes not even saying anything, just staring into the distance.”

The host interjected as she exclaimed: “That’s real life!” as Sammy emphasised just how comfortable the couple are in that way.

Jess then added: “There’s only so much you can talk about as well,” as the group all came to an agreement on the matter.
