Madonna has ‘strict rules for how to manage legacy’ in the event of her death

Madonna has revealed that she has very strict rules in place for how her team should manage her legacy if she dies.

This comes after the 64-year-old left worried fans last week when she was admitted to hospital for a bacterial infection.

The Queen of Pop was even “intubated” and thought to have been placed on a ventilator.

Madonna’s daughter Lourdes Leon remained by the Express Yourself singer’s side throughout the whole ordeal and it has since been revealed that the star has strict plans in place in the event of her death.

According to The Sun, Madonna is against any “cheap gimmicks” like holograms that might “tarnish her legacy”.

The source told the outlet that aside from Abba Voyage: “The use of holograms to bring performers to life has been questionable, to say the least”.

They then explained that Whitney Houston’s hologram tour was “panned by critics” and “Madonna refuses to let money-hungry bosses do the same to her.”

The source added: “She has spent her whole life calling the shots and maintaining cultural relevance — and there is no chance she’s letting all her hard work be tarnished.”

The pop icon also wants to share all of her assets equally between her six children Lourdes, 26, Rocco, 22, David, 17, Mercy, 17 and 10-year-old twins Stella and Estere.

Madonna would also like to leave “some” of her estate to her beloved manager Guy Oseary, the publication explained.

Guy announced Madonna’s health scare to fans via Instagram at the end of June.

He said: “On Saturday, June 24, Madonna developed a serious bacterial infection which lead to a several-day stay in the ICU.”

“Her health is improving, however, she is still under medical care. A full recovery is expected. At this time we will need to pause all commitments, which includes the tour.

“We will share more details with you soon as we have them, including a new start date for the tour and for rescheduled shows.”
