Only Fools and Horses' Sue Holderness slams Harry and Meghan's 'tedious' Netflix show

Only Fools and Horses star Sue Holderness has slammed Prince Harry and Meghan Markle ’s recent Netflix documentary, dubbing it “tedious.”

The 73-year-old, who is famed for her former role as Marlene Boyce on the ionic British show, has revealed she believes Harry, 38, and wife Meghan, 41, declared the show as being “jolly tedious” and added that she hadn’t watched a “single second” of it, as she believes it to be rooted in negativity.

“Six hours of doom and gloom!” she groaned, acknowledging that Harry is “probably quite unhappy,” she told Express.co.uk.

The actress added that she was “gripped” by Meghan and Harry’s story, but wouldn’t be reading the latter’s forthcoming book, Spare, instead planning to check out the newspapers to read the “juicy” excerpts from it.

Sue elaborated: “I haven’t got enough life left to waste on Harry’s book, I’m afraid!”

Sue also claimed the pair are mistaken in their allegations that there is racism within the Royal Family.

The “profound royalist” spoke passionately about her love for Britain’s most well-known family, adding: “I’ve been lucky enough to meet every single member of the Royal Family. There’s nothing remotely racist about them.

“What a wonderful king Charles is going to be! William will back him up – it’s something to be treasured.”

Not only does she “love” Prince William, but she added she didn’t think wife Kate Middleton had “put a single foot wrong” in the entirety of her time in the family.

Meghan and Harry previously stated that an unnamed member of the Royal Family had speculated over what colour her then-unborn son Archie’s skin colour might be, causing the couple distress.

It seems that Sue’s love of the royals is reciprocated, as Buckingham Palace officials are known to have previously requested advance copies of Only Fools and Horses to be delivered to them before they were screened on TV.

These included one episode which Sue recalls was nearly the death of her, after she was almost attacked by an alligator in Florida’s Everglades.

Sue also praised the “tasteful” nature of Queen Elizabeth II’s funeral and added that tourists had “loved” the way it was presented.

Expanding on the subject further, she singled out Princess Anne too, adding that she was “the hardest working person in the country”.
