Paul, who famously sold his band’s Brit Award in 2018, ventured out into the world of tarot reading last year – and provided online services for fans.
And just weeks ago, Paul revealed he had consulted with the cards to see what the future held in his final ever interview.
Speaking in February at a press conference to announce the reunion, he told MailOnline: “I saw wheel of fortune – that’s good, that’s good luck. I genuinely did look at the cards.
“There were other cards as well, ace of clubs – passion, new beginnings, your cup over-runeth with genuinely passionate emotion.
“It’s positivity – something to be passionate about.”
Paul was due to perform with his six bandmates in arenas across the UK and Ireland in October in celebration of S Club 7’s 25th anniversary.
The late star, Hannah Spearritt, Bradley McIntosh, Tina Barrett, Jo O’Meara, Jon Lee, and Rachel Stevens – who formed in 1998 – announced their comeback in February.
A statement released by Paul’s family revealed his “unexpected” passing and the “great sadness” that comes with it.
“It is with great sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of our beloved son and brother Paul Cattermole.
“Paul was found yesterday, 6th April 2023 at his home in Dorset and was pronounced dead later that afternoon.
“While the cause of death is currently unknown, Dorset Police has confirmed that there were no suspicious circumstances. Paul’s family, friends and fellow members of S Club request privacy at this time.”
Following his shock passing, A statement from S Club 7 read: “We are truly devastated by the passing of our brother Paul.
“There are no words to describe the deep sadness and loss we all feel.
“We were so lucky to have had him in our lives and are thankful for the amazing memories we have.
