It comes after Jayne Torvill appeared on the latest show with her arm in a sling.

The stunning skating professional, 65, looked gorgeous in a deep emerald green glittery frock, which was paired with a matching sling to support her injured arm.

Chatting to hosts Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby, Jayne revealed that she needed to have surgery but could still press the buttons – with her right hand – to deliver her scores while carrying out her judging duties

Taking to Twitter, fans were quick to throw their support behind the beloved skating star.

One person took to the show’s hashtag and penned: “Poor Jayne I do hope she gets better soon.”

“Hope Jayne Torvill gets well soon from her injury. Amazing that Torvill and Dean still ice skate together this many years on from when they were doing the Olympics,” added a second.
