Broadcaster Piers Morgan has seemed to take aim at the BBC’s coverage of its presenter scandal.
It has been confirmed that a male member of staff has been suspended from the corporation following allegations that a presenter paid a teenager in exchange for sexually explicit images.
The presenter has not been named, leading to a lot of speculation and members of the public have been guessing about who it could be.

Piers weighed in on Twitter as someone shared a screenshot from BBC News about the story.
The person had said: “BBC host asks BBC reporter standing outside the BBC about allegations against unnamed BBC star. BBC reporter says they ‘haven’t been able to confirm’ whether the BBC presenter has been suspended by the BBC.”
“Ridiculous,” Piers remarked.
The former Good Morning Britain star also shared his thoughts on the scandal in another post, where he said of the story: “This is a huge scoop and a massive scandal that will rock Britain.”
The allegations were initially reported by The Sun, which said the presenter was accused of giving the teen more than £35,000 since they were 17.
It sparked speculation online about who the person could be, and some stars took the step of taking to Twitter themselves to say it wasn’t them.
Rylan was one of those to speak out, tweeting: “That ain’t me babe.”
Jeremy Vine tweeted to make it clear that it wasn’t him, telling fans: Just to say I’m very much looking forward to hosting my radio show on Monday — whoever the ‘BBC Presenter’ in the news is, I have the same message for you as Rylan did earlier: it certainly ain’t me.”
Gary Lineker also appeared to be referring to the allegations as he posted: “Hate to disappoint the haters but it’s not me.”
