Prince Harry turned 'numb' during ITV interview as he recalled images of Diana dying

Prince Harry appeared to be “numb” as he recalled seeing the top secret documents surrounding the death of his beloved mum, Diana, Princess of Wales.

The Duke of Sussex sat down for an ITV interview with his pal of over 20 years, Tom Bradby, and shared how he was handed distressing images of his mother.

Diana died aged 36 in 1997 following a disastrous car crash in Paris, while in the city with her boyfriend Dodi Fayad when their car crashed.

The Princess was lying in the car as paparazzi swarmed the incident to try and get a picture of her – with the images turning out to be the last.

Following the interview, leading body language expert and celebrity psychic Inbaal Honigman has shared her views on Harry during the interview.

Speaking exclusively to Daily Star, Inbaal said: “When commenting on the photographs he didn’t see, he looks down for a long while and frowns,” after Harry explained some images were too distressing for him to look at.

She continued: “The idea of seeing those images now is upsetting to him. As he mentions that as a youngster, he demanded to see those photos, he even does a little giggle, as if he’s astonished at his youthful stubbornness.

“As he describes the photographs, his hands gesture widely, showing that he’s passionate about describing it, keen for everyone to learn the lesson.

“He’s not using both hands at the same time, but alternates them, while his non-gesturing hand rests between his legs, to soothe.”

Inbaal went on to add: “A very interesting gesture comes when the interviewer clarifies, what he means about the paparazzi taking pictures of his mother rather than helping her, and Harry responds ‘that still hurts’.

“At that time, Harry’s hand sweeps through the air, in a ‘never mind’ gesture, like there’s nothing to add to that story, he doesn’t want to discuss the full painful detail because it’s already common knowledge.”

The Yorkshire-native continued: “As Harry describes that he was looking for hurt because he was numb, he takes length pauses, as he feels emotional recalling the memories, and he uses a ‘finger purse’ gesture, to show that every word he uses is precise.”
