Prince Harry has opened up on his relationship with the Royal Family following the launch of his Netflix show, Harry & Meghan.
As his autobiography, Spare, hits the shelves too, he has discussed his scathing confessions, admitting that the key thing he wants from his family is “accountability”, following he and wife Meghan Markle’s exit to the US.

Speaking in the new documentary on ITV, Harry: The Interview, Harry said he believes a lot of people after watching the documentary and reading his book will question how he could “forgive” his family.
He explained: “People have already said that to me. I said, ‘forgiveness is 100% a possibility because I would like to get my father back.

“I would like to have my brother back. At the moment, I don’t recognise them, as much as they probably don’t recognise me.”
Harry explained that the press also had a connection in his family feud, adding that “certain members of the family and the people that work for them are complicit in that conflict”.
He concluded that he would like to reconcile with his family, but above all else he wants “accountability”.

“I’ve managed to make peace over this time with a lot of things that have happened. But that doesn’t mean that I’m just gonna let it go.
“You know, I’ve made peace with it, but I still would like reconciliation. And not only would that be wonderful for us, but it would be fantastic for them as well.”

Harry’s hopes for reconciliation and accountability followed numerous scathing claims made in both his Netflix documentary and sneak-peeks of his upcoming book, Spare.
The documentary saw the pair address feuds between the family, though further claims emerged from Harry’s book, including claims that he was struck by his brother, Prince William.
Harry famously caused a stir when he and Meghan announced they would be stepping back as senior members of the royal family and moving to the US.
