Rise and Fall's Marina shares secret Penthouse element fans don't see on Channel 4 show

Rise and Fall star Marina has opened up about her dramatic exit from the Channel 4 show.

The receptionist received the most elimination votes during Tuesday’s (March 28) episode after her fellow former Grafters turned on her in a shock move.

Marina, 18, has since opened up about the “back-stabbbing” following her departure from the Penthouse.

She told Daily Star: “I’m really happy I did it and made some amazing friends – despite the backstabbing.

“I was surprised Connor changed his decision but it’s a game and it is what it is and you’ve got to do what you’ve got to do.

“I think the Grafters knew that I took a risk to go up there first to help them and as soon as I got them there, they voted me out.

“I think Connor will definitely have a target on his back now.”

Marina also teased what viewers didn’t see on camera.

She explained: “What you kind of don’t see is when you open the fridge, you’ve got this stock of food, gorgeous cupcake and everything. I was giving the high life.

“I actually made a final speech before I left which didn’t get aired. I started crying and my voice started going but it’s so intense.”

“The whole experience was a whirlwind and we’d always come up with these weird conspiracy theories and be sitting there thinking anything can happen.”

Discussing whether she’d do anything different, Marina revealed that she sticks by her decision.

She said: “”If I wanted to play the game better I would have stayed in the Basement for longer but I knew that when I made that decision.

“The only things I regret in life is not taking up an opportunity and for me I went in there and I took every opportunity and risk that came my way and I can’t have any regrets on that.”

When asked if she’s do it again, Marina confirmed she’d “go back in a heartbreak as a Grafter or Ruler”.

Marina later added who she thinks could be in with the chance of winning the prize fund.

“Joanna and Eddy are the two strongest contenders for me,” she said.

Rise and Fall continues tonight at 10pm on Channel 4 and All 4. Catch up with the series so far on All 4
