Ryan Seacrest, 48, experienced an embarrassing moment on Live with Kelly and Ryan as an outfit blunder led his co-host to think he was taking his shirt off.
Hollywood’s Ryan was sitting down ahead of the show’s trivia segment on Wednesday (March 29) when he realised that something was wrong.
Ali Wentworth was clearly left confused as to whether he was about to “take his shirt off” mid-show.

The pair had just sat down at their desk as they prepared to speak to a caller, who had only just started speaking when Ryan realised all was not well with his shirt.
The former American Idol host interrupted the caller and alerted Ali, who was standing in for Kelly Ripa, that he had made a blunder.

The Express reported the 48-year-old said: “By the way, I just want to tell you, I just looked down and saw all kinds of things happening here.”
Ryan then began fiddling with the buttons on his shirt as he pointed out the strange material he found hidden between the gaps.
Clearly bewildered by her co-host’s revelation, Ali asked: “All kinds of tape?”
To which the Live host joked: “It looks like someone’s concerned my skirt was going to pop open during the show.”
The Live duo then burst into laughter as Ryan adjusted his shirt.
Ali quipped “They just duct taped you in the middle”, as she made a joke out of her co-host’s awkward ordeal.

Ryan took the mishap as a possible personal dig, teasingly telling everyone: “Just tell me, I look puffy. I had soy sauce last night!”
Before Ali added: “Just never take your shirt off”.
There was a reason for Ryan’s shirt being taped up after the Live host landed in a similar situation just months ago.
During another one of his wardrobe malfunctions, a button popped off his shirt, revealing some of his bare chest.
However, it appeared the crew’s tricks to keep Seacrest’s shirt in place had failed as tape had already been placed on the inside of his shirt in an attempt to prevent gaps from showing.
The audience could be heard laughing in the background, while Kelly attempted to distract viewers by predicting what kind of “heart-healthy foods” Dr. Jampolis would suggest.
Live with Kelly and Ryan continues weekdays on ABC in the US.
