Strictly Come Dancing bosses ‘bring in emergency rules to stop spoilers being leaked’

Strictly Come Dancing bosses are reportedly introducing urgent rules to make sure spoilers don’t ruin episodes before they air.

The BBC dancing show has been the victim of leaks in the past and it’s said the show’s head honchos are cracking down to make sure it doesn’t happen during the new series, which gets under way this month.

It might not come as a surprise that results get leaked as Saturday’s live show and Sunday’s results show are filmed on the Saturday in front of a live audience, meaning a handful of people know who gets the boot.

According to the Daily Mail, Strictly bosses fear that a “mole” working on the show has leaked the 2023 pairings for this year’s series.

And it’s said they are determined to “nail” whoever is responsible for leaking results.

A source told the Mail: “Enough is enough, it isn’t fair on the fans, they look forward to tuning in to see who will be dancing together.

“So now procedures are being put in place to see if the mole can be caught though it’s tricky because there are so many people involved with Strictly but the bosses are determined to nail he or she.”
