Strictly fans say same thing as unheard audio unveils ‘sweet’ message from pro

Strictly Come Dancing fans swooned as they heard the audio from Lauren Oakley’s microphone during her performance with Krishnan Guru-Murthy.

During Saturday (September 30) night’s show, the duo danced the Foxtrot to Love Really Hurts Without You by Billy Ocean and were awarded 20 points from the judges. When they headed to the panel for feedback, Craig Revel Horwood admitted he wanted to hear what Lauren was saying to her partner as her mouth could be seen constantly moving during the performance.

And Craig got his wish during Sunday night’s results show as presenter Claudia Winkleman revealed they had access to Lauren’s microphone. “Is it clean?” joked Craig as Claudia responded: “It is and it’s for you”.

As Krishnan, 53, and Lauren glided around the ballroom floor, the pro dancer could be heard reminded her partner of his “elbows” and to “smile” throughout the performance. “Let’s go, baby. Smile,” she said to her partner.

“Come on, boring boy, stand up, smile!” She continued: “You’re cute. Head up! Slow, quick, quick, slow! Enjoy it!” After the audio was shared, fans took to social media to gush over Lauren.

One person penned: “The best overheard mic ever Lauren ily.” Another said: “I’ve said it before but I’m so so glad Lauren has a celeb partner this year. She’s such a ray of sunshine and an incredible dancer!”

A third viewer agreed: “Lauren is the one of best additions this show has ever had i adore her” Echoing this, someone else wrote: “Lauren saying with pure aggression: ‘ENJOY IT!!!!’ reader, i love her.”

Unfortunately for Les Dennis, he became the first contestant eliminated from Strictly. The showbiz legend faced radio presenter Nikita Kanda in the first dance off of the series after failing to impress on Saturday night.

Speaking to host Tess Daly about his time on the show, Les, 69, said: “I’ve had the best time, this lady [pro partner Nancy Xu] has been amazing, a great teacher, she’s really put me through my paces.” Turning to Nancy, he went on: “I did as well as I could for you, I hope!”
