The Apprentice's Amy Anzel vows to never watch show again and calls for Lord Sugar axe

Amy Anzel has vowed to never watch The Apprentice again amid calls from the 2022 candidate for Lord Alan Sugar to be axed from the show.

The American business woman, 49, shot to fame in the 16th series of the BBC One reality show when she was allegedly “banned” from the final after she was fired.

Speaking to Daily Star exclusively in the aftermath of last week’s final, Hollywood Browzer founder Amy said that now that series 17 has come to an end, she won’t be watching next year.

“That’s a wrap on series 17 of The Apprentice, and that’s definitely a wrap on me ever watching the show again.

Amy Anzel has said she will “never” watch The Apprentice again

“It has been so tedious, and as I’ve said over the past 12 weeks, the show has just completely gone down hill. No one is able to really showcase their business acumen – which has been the case for past several years.

“But it’s really gotten worse because I think now the advisors and Lord Sugar are just constantly bashing the candidates. No one ever looks good.”

She then added: “That’s it for me watching The Apprentice. I will never tune in again.”

The stunning TV star has even called for Lord Sugar to be replaced

Amy then spoke of the online petition she created to get Lord Sugar axed from the show, and how people have been signing in support of the one who usually fires, being fired himself from the show.

“He just needs to be replaced. He is so archaic in the way he conducts business and talks to the candidates and the whole show just needs a refresh, and a younger more modern entrepreneur in that seat.”

She went on to call for a “stern yet fair” person to head up the show before reiterating that she is “done with The Apprentice”.

Amy concluded with saying that she is “done watching it ever again and good luck to the future candidates and their reality TV short-lived careers.”

The petition that Amy launched last week says: “It’s time for Lord Sugar to make way for the next generation to take the reigns before The Apprentice is ran into the ground by a poor production team of people who have decided that the show should spend it’s time making a complete mockery of the candidates and being nothing but damaging to British entrepreneurship.
