This Morning fans praise ITV show as guest goes topless for live breast examination

This Morning was inundated with praise from viewers when a brave lady called Leanne went topless and got a live breast examination.

The ITV daytime show took a surprising turn on Monday morning (March 27) when it aired a helpful health segment showing women how to check their boobs for signs of breast cancer.

It aimed to encourage women watching at home to check their breasts for lumps and other signs of serious conditions like breast cancer that could go undiagnosed if not spotted.

It saw This Morning’s resident doctor Dr Sara Kayat examine Kelly’s breasts live on-air, showing viewers how they can check themselves at home and keep themselves healthy.

Hosts Alison Hammond and Holly Willoughby watched on in awe as Leanne got examined in the studio.

Getting checked is vital as it means doctors can spot any issues and provide the appropriate treatment as quickly as possible, giving the patient the best chance at recovery.

One fan wrote: “Well done to the (brave imo) lady putting herself in that position to have a live examination. And good on #ThisMorning for highlighting the technique for ladies.”

Another agreed: “love that lady having the breast examination brave and beautiful”

A fourth wrote: “Just wanted to say how brave and amazing the lady is to be live on TV to allow the Dr to show us how to check our breast.”

Replying to the tweet, another fan admitted it prompted them to check her own breasts.

They tweeted: “Totally agree, it’s just forced me to do a check myself – haven’t done one for years, crazy isn’t it that we ignore our own health with checks that are so simple.”

Alison herself admitted she had learnt so much from Dr Sara’s segment, and Holly was keen to get women to share a clip of the segment to their pals.

Alison was hosting alongside Holly instead of Phillip Schofield this week as Phil was enjoying a week off.
