Fans of Tipping Point were left rather perplexed during the latest episode after a contestant gave a far-fetched answer when quizzed on the Royal Family.
Monday’s episode had fans glued to their screens as players Carol, Jack and Jim battled it out for the jackpot prize and to be crowned the Tipping Point winner.
But things didn’t go so smoothly for Jim who was left baffled by a question that was hurled at him by presenter Ben Shephard.

Ben asked: “Which monarch was on the British throne at the beginning of the 21st century?”
Hesitating slightly, Jim replied: “Queen Victoria.”
But TV quiz fans were left bemused by his answer and headed over to Twitter with immediate effect to share their thoughts.
One viewer said: “Queen Victoria? 21st Century? What?”
Another penned: “Poor Jim. Only 100 years out.”
Meanwhile a third joked: “Queen Victoria reigned from 1837-2022.”
Although Jim did get off to a promising start, he unfortunately failed to retrieve many counters from the machine and was sent home first as a result.
Battling out for their place in the final, Carol and Jack went head to head.
With the pair struggling to get many answers right, it was Jack who appeared to surprise viewers when he sailed straight into the final round.
But as he was the only man standing, the pressure was on for Jack who didn’t seem to know many questions.
Seeing Jack struggle on the ITV quizzing show viewers headed over to Twitter once again to share their thoughts.
One viewer said: “I can only applaud Jack’s bravery in applying for a general knowledge game show.”
Another said: “So you told your friends you were going to be on #TippingPoint but you didn’t get a single question right?”
While a third asked: “How did Jack even get through the selection process?”
Despite the confusion from fans at home, Jack still managed to gain a decent amount of money from the machine.
Unable to gain the jackpot prize, Jack walked away with £2,750.
