Hollywood actress Jennifer Coolidge got so much “sexual action” after playing Stifler’s mom in American Pie.
The film star reportedly “slept with 200 people” after playing a the iconic ‘MILF’ role in the 1999 film. Jennifer, 62, confessed to her raunchy antics and said there were “so many benefits to doing that movie”.
Jennifer told Variety: “I got a lot of play at being a MILF and I got a lot of sexual action from American Pie. I mean, there would be like 200 people that I would never have slept with.”

However, in 2022, she did set the record straight during a conversation with Ariana Grande for Entertainment Weekly. Jennifer said: “I did say that jokingly, and, God, you really can’t make jokes in our town, because I did make the terrible mistake of saying, ‘Thank God for that movie, I got to sleep with 200 men,’ or whatever. And look, I would love to say that was true, but I mean, that was sort of an exaggeration.”
Though she did confirm that her iconic role impacted her dating life. She added: “It did sort of open up the world to a much broader group of handsome men—and younger men.”

Her famous character seduced her son’s teenage friend, Paul “S**t Break” Finch, who was played by Eddie Kaye Thomas. Following the movie’s huge success, the actress reprised her role in the sequel American Pie 2 (2001).
She also jumped into the part again when producers decided to make two more follow-ups, American Pie: The Wedding (2003) and American Pie: Reunion (2012). Jennifer went on to find further fame in some other legendary roles in titles such as Legally Blonde, A Cinderella Story and the iconic sitcom Friends.

The star has since confessed that before landing her spot on American Pie, she struggled for decades in the industry and she felt like she had nothing to lose anymore.
Jennifer admitted: “Ten years of my life of auditioning, none of it added up to a job. The fear is gone when you’re so used to losing. There’s some freedom in that.”

In recent years, Jennifer has also starred in HBO’s White Lotus as Tanya but revealed she almost turned down the role. She confirmed it was because she didn’t like how she “looked” after putting on weight during lockdown.
She told The Guardian, “I didn’t like the way I looked. The greatest thing was that no one knew if it was going to be anything! What helped is that my character, Tanya had parallels to me personally.”
