Carol Kirkwood has left BBC Breakfast fans swooning once again.
The 62-year-old weather presenter appeared on Wednesday’s (May 29) edition of the morning show to share the latest forecast with viewers watching at home.
However, before she got the chance to host the first weather bulletin of the day, presenters Sally Nugent and Jon Kay sang Happy Birthday to an shocked Carol.

Carol said to her co-hosts: “Bless you both, you took me by surprise completely but how melodic” before going on to continue with her segment. As Carol turned another year older, fans took to social media to compliment her latest outfit choice as she wowed in a leopard print dress.

Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, one fan penned: ” BBC Breakfast’s Carol Kirkwood hailed ‘absolutely stunning’ as she wows on birthday.” Another added: “Love the dress Carol – looking absolutely stunning! Me-Wow! #BBCBreakfast.” A third person wrote: “Happy Birthday Carol You are a national treasure Oh and thank you for the beautiful sunshine in the Portsmouth area this morning. Have a wonderful day.”

It comes after Carol shut down Jon live on air during Tuesday’s (May 28) episode. During the show, Jon and Sally discussed some of the “wild activities” which took place over the Bank Holiday weekend such as the woolsack race which took place in Tetbury, Gloucestershire.
Jon, 54, quipped: “I wonder what’s worse on your knees? I think coming down would be worse, wouldn’t it?” Sally declared: “Both bad!” Jon suggested he and Sally should tackle the event – an idea she immediately rejected.

The 52-year-old wasn’t keen on the idea as she responded: “No! Will you stop suggesting all these things that we might do, someone will pay attention and make us do it.”
Jon later turned his attention to Carol, claiming she could take part in the race wearing heels. “Carol could, actually,” agreed Sally. However, the meteorologist immediately shut down the idea. “You are joking?” she said. “Not in a million years!”
