Susan Boyle once made a very cheeky confession about her sex life.
The singer was catapulted to fame back in 2009 on series three of Britain’s Got Talent. Susan blew the judges and audience away with her rendition of I Dreamed A Dream and made it all the way to the final of the ITV show.
Despite being pipped at the final hurdle by dance act Diversity, Susan remains one of the most memorable acts in show history. Since then, she’s released a slew of chart-topping albums, even breaking international records.

And with around 25 million records sold under her belt, the Scottish star has performed on some of the world’s biggest shows, including America’s Got Talent, The Oprah Show and The X Factor.
But away from the glitz and glam of the showbiz world, Susan isn’t afraid to let slip a rather cheeky sex life confession. During her first-ever appearance on Loose Women in 2020, Susan opened up very quickly to the ITV panel.
She told the ITV ladies how she had a secret one-time lover who was a doctor. When telling the panel about her last date, which was around six years ago at the time, she said she went “missing” with the mystery man.
The panel asked if Susan ever dated and she replied: “You mean go with fellas? No, youngsters may be able to do it, but I haven’t got the time. It is still nice to be asked though.”
Susan went on: “I had a date in America six years ago, which lasted exactly 45 minutes. I went for a massage in the spa of a hotel and met a doctor and then we went out for lunch. I didn’t tell anyone and my team thought I’d been kidnapped.
“They were really panicking because I had a show that night. The guy was nice, but he wasn’t for me. I couldn’t be dealing with keeping up with the correspondence.”
She also hinted that the doctor and her shared some alone time. Susan told them: “I came back with a smile on my face. Let’s just say he rubbed me up the right way.”
Though she remained tight-lipped about her current love life and didn’t expose any intel on the topic, telling the panel she was “not saying” anything on the matter.
Susan also opened up about the American doctor, whom she felt a connection with, to Lady Magazine. Though sparks flew between the pair initially it failed to develop into anything long-term.
She told the publication: “I did have a gentleman friend, a doctor. We went for lunch but I didn’t tell anyone. But if I had a man friend it would be purely platonic – I’ve been on my own too long now to get married.”
