A Real Housewives of Cheshire star is the latest big name to reportedly sign on the dotted to star on next month’s Celebrity Big Brother.
The reality show returns to screens on March 4 on ITV – almost six years after it was axed along with the ‘civilian’ version of the programme by Channel 5. Hosted by AJ Odudu and Will Best, several stars have already been linked with the show including former X Factor judge Louis Walsh, Love Island winner Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu and Kate Middleton’s uncle Gary Goldsmith.
Now, ITVBe diva Lauren Simon has been added to that list, almost a year on from admitting a botched boob job had left her hospitalised for three weeks and nearly claimed her life.

The 48-year old star, who split from her tycoon husband Paul Simon in 2018 knows how to work the reality television cameras having been a cast member of RHOC since its 2014 inception.
According to the Sun, Lauren, who has also starred on First Dates, has penned a deal in time for CBB’s big comeback. Last year, meanwhile the star claimed in an ITV documentary that she didn’t notice she was suffering from menopausal symptoms after doctors told her she was “fine”.
Lauren said the topic of menopause was often considered a taboo subject but felt as though the public needed to know more about what women go through. She also urged women to continue pushing doctors for further treatment if they felt they weren’t getting anywhere after her own experience saw her “palmed off”.
Speaking exclusively to the Daily Star about her symptoms, she said: “I had memory fog, I was taking a herbal supplement for memory loss,” she explained. “I was taking black cohosh and red clover, I’m really into the herbal side. You see me going to a Chinese herbalist, she made this concoction of this tea that I’m supposed to drink twice a day. It was undrinkable, it tasted like mud, wee and coffee together – that was an interesting scene.”
She continued: “[In the documentary] I go out with my friends and we talk about what symptoms you’re supposed to get which is an itchy, dry vagina which I have not got. I was lucky enough to film with the girls I’m friends with, I did quite a lot of filming on my own. I had a few hot sweats and stuff a couple of years ago, I went to the doctor and they basically said to me ‘you’re fine, there’s nothing going on’.”

It comes after Big Brother fans seemingly spotted a major clue that Radio DJ Jordan North could also be joining the cast after his former colleague Vick Hope seemingly let the cat out of the bag.
After Jordan’s replacement in Jamie Laing was confirmed, Vick declared: “Christ I’ll miss you so much Jord, what a radio legend and sweet sweet love. Will be voting for you every night on CBB!!” Although it’s not certain whether Vick was joking, Jordan replied to her post with a laughing face and heart emojis.
