A blonde teen rocks up out of the blue, on a mission to find Joel and tells Amy Barlow, portrayed by Elle Mulvaney, she needs a word with him, leading to a tense showdown as Joel demands to know what she wants.
Sharon left us hanging with her comment: “Shaken, shaken. Is she going to ask questions?” Hinting that if this girl starts snooping around, it could be game over for Joel, reports the Daily Record.
Corrie aficionados know all too well that Joel is the sneaky snake who actually attacked Lauren Bolton, played by Cait Fitton, who’s now mysteriously vanished from the street.
While Nathan Curtis (Chris Harper) is currently banged up for Lauren’s alleged murder thanks to being stitched up by copper Kit Green (Jacob Roberts) who sneakily planted hair in Nathan’s car Joel has been flying under the radar… until now. But with the walls closing in, it seems Joel’s days of playing it cool might just be running out.
In the latest airing of popular ITV soap Coronation Street, viewers watched as character Joel took an eerie interest in Sabrina Adetiba (played by Luana Santos). Our cunning protagonist pulls a sly move by pouring alcohol into her cup on a park bench, giving the impression he was doing the same for himself.
Sabrina, young and naive, takes his attention in stride, considering it a quick ego boost. However, her friend arriving on the scene is having none of it. Not one to mince her words, she calls him out for being ‘slimy’, highlighting the considerable gap in their ages and warning Sabrina to keep her guard up.

Despite his vehement denials, she remains convinced that he had attempted to get her friend intoxicated. She later confronts the man she identifies as a lawyer, berating him for supplying Sabrina with booze earlier.
With the declaration that she has quite the “big gob”, she informs Joel that her silence will not come cheap. She paints a rather damning picture: “Doesn’t sound good, does it? Weird old lawyer, chatting up young vulnerable woman, plying her with alcohol.”
Even as he clings onto his feigned innocence and makes a swift exit from the conversation, it’s clear she isn’t about to let her suspicions lie.
