EastEnders newcomer Teddy Mitchell, portrayed by Roland Manookian, rocked up in Walford last June with his lads Barney and Harry under a shroud of mystery about their history.
However, soap sopiers have confirmed viewers are set for some juicy details about Teddy’s backstory – thanks to a revelation from Harry.
Teddy, who recently snapped up 1 Albert Square from notorious villian Gray Atkins (played by Toby-Alexander Smith), was eager to tell his half-sibling Billy Mitchell (Perry Fenwick) and Honey (Emma Barton) about his purchase.
They’re soon to share a spine-chilling tale about the home’s dark history – where Gray killed his missus Chantelle Atkins as well as Tina Carter. Seems though that Teddy isn’t fazed by ghosts of the past and is dead-set on winning over the locals, planning a housewarming bash this week.
Using his charm, Teddy gets Kim Fox (Tameka Empson) and former resident Chelsea (Zaraah Abrahams) involved in the do. But there’s a plot twist – the cheeky chappy drops a bombshell on an unsuspecting Chelsea about a secret condition he snuck into the deal for Grays house, leaving her gobsmacked, reports MyLondon.
As the revellers get into the swing of things, Harry Mitchell (Elijah Holloway) sidles up to Teddy with some troubling news. He tells his old man: “You know who” has been nosing around their previous digs, trying to suss out their new whereabouts.
Since EastEnders dropped hints that a mystery person is on the hunt for Teddy and his boys, the fans have been frenzied with speculation, with a storm of guesses hinting that Chrissie Watts might be Teddy’s former flame.
Nearly two decades after last treading the streets of Albert Square, Chrissie, portrayed by Tracy-Ann Oberman, is set to shock regulars and viewers alike with an unexpected comeback. A major face in the serial from 2004 to 2005particularly for Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean)Chrissie made her memorable exit in 2005, locked up for the murder of Den.
Fast forward 19 years, the iconic figure will be dancing back into Walford for a spellbinding visit later this annum. Is there a past between Teddy and Chrissie?
