Emmerdale’s Ella Forster’s secret unravels next week.
In upcoming scenes of the ITV soap set to air next week, Leyla Harding’s (Roxy Shahidi) suspicious about Ella due to a lack of online presence and is determined to find answers about her.
Soon after, Manpreet Sharma (Rebecca Sarker) fills Liam Cavanagh (Johnny McPherson) in about something she saw regarding Ella which jolts Liam into action.

Earlier this year, bombshell Ella arrived in the village and quickly landed a job at the doctor’s surgery. Almost immediately after she landed her new role, she started flirting with doctor Liam.
However, things soon became tense between them after Liam’s fling with Chas Dingle (Lucy Pargeter) and her breast cancer diagnosis. The GP was torn between the two women but in the end, he decided to pursue a relationship with Ella even though his heart is still with Chas.
This week, Ella panics when Liam suggests he slept over at her place after a steamy date but manages to deflect his offer Later, on the outskirts of the village, Ella’s bed in seen in the back of her car, clearly lacking a permanent place to stay. The next morning, Ella is found sleeping in her car by Manpreet during her morning run.
Utterly embarrassed, she begs Manpreet not to tell Liam but the nurse accidentally lets slip her secret later on that day. After some discussion, Liam suggests she temporarily moves into the spare room at Tenants and Ella agrees. Later on in the week, Mandy enquires about Ella’s family as she moves her things into the house. When Ella spots an old photograph in Mandy’s hand, she snaps at her, leaving Mandy utterly baffled.
Viewers will need to stay tuned to see what secrets Ella is keeping secret from Liam. It comes after Emmerdale fans shared their theories that Ella has an existing link to they village as they demanded Liam to ditch her for Chas. However, amid the unexpected love triangle, fans have shared their suspicions about Ella online.
Taking to X – formerly known as Twitter – one user penned: “I think Ella is related to Meena, she is close with Dawn who Meena tried to kill on her wedding day she is dating Liam which Meena killed his daughter and she works with Manpreet who is Meena’s sister.” Another agreed: “She’s obviously Meena’s pal. Befriending her victims and said her friend was a nurse.” A third echoed: “No no bloody no. Ella is definitely connected to Meena in some way or another. Liam and Chas be great together.
